Our Little Arukah Cottage is situated in Mount Torrens, in the idyllic Adelaide Hills, amongst dairy farms, hay country and rolling vineyards. Arukah is a Hebrew word, meaning “God’s Restoration.”
Previously known as "Sinkinson Cottage", founded by the George Sinkinson family in the 1860's. This small cottage now on offer has been lovingly restored by Andy. It is quiet and cosy.
From the outset, we wanted to create a quiet country cottage space, to share with others, who may be weary worn and in need of a little “Escape to the Country”-  for short stays, to breathe and to restore, even if just a little. Everyone who comes here speaks of the peace they feel, and so we decided that it was time to put our own stamp on it with a new name. Arukah seemed fitting as it creates a place of restful healing and is restorative in so many ways. Bookings are available seven days per week except for arrival on a Sunday. We allow single night stay's mid week.
